I’m a good friend of Nicks as well as his family from NY. I keep asking these same questions myself and never get a reply. It’s like it’s been swept under the carpet! Nothing more about it, no mug shot of Lee, trial dates, etc. There has been nothing said about Nicks family and the pain that they are going through.. All you heard about was how those people who wouldn’t help him! And shame on them..How horrible it was for them. How about the fact that his parents lost their son to a brutal and senses act. It’s such a shame. Nick was a good hearted soul who loved life. He would have helped anyone it’s a shame that the feeling were not reversed for him.

Can you please explain to me why this is still under investigation? I mean there was plenty of eye witnesses, and the suspect Lee MCDonald admitted that he did this horrific crime. Its been over 2 weeks and there are still no updates. Why is this? I understand the system takes time but this seems like a pretty clean cut case. The Pott’s family deserve’s justice for their son, then their son Nick can rest in peace.

Great question- thanks for asking. There is a common misconception that just because an arrest is made in any type of case the investigation is complete. Much of this is fueled by what we see on tv or in the movies. In reality it takes time to make sure we have gathered and analyzed every piece of evidence, interviewed every possible witness, and done everything we can to ensure we have investigated the case thoroughly and accurately. While we are doing this, we have to be careful about what information we release to the public. Although we understand why the public would like to have instant access to all of the information, prematurely releasing information can jeopardize a fair trial, which is something none of us want. Without fair trials, there can be no justice for anyone.

If this man was indeed the man whom was on the scene and sitting in front of his own house he Had to be defending his own life. Lee McDonald is a very loved and kindhearted person and the manuy others who were injured in the block were scarred and ran away from the brutal attack on Mr Lee McDonald
His home was made unsafe as of the minute the visitor became a life threatening force in the household . I’,m calling it Make my day jif at all truth will prevail
