Western Colorado Drug Task Force investigators arrested a man Wednesday night, who is suspected of selling methamphetamine. DTF investigators had information 47-year-old Raymond Troy Cordova was attempting to sell meth to a person in a parking lot in the 2400 block of North Ave. Surveillance units in the area saw Cordova get into a vehicle, contacted him, and searched his vehicle. They found a baggy containing suspected meth near the driver’s seat as well as a baggy of suspected meth in Cordova’s pocket. In total, the suspected meth weighed approximately 15 grams.
DTF investigators booked Cordova into the Mesa County Jail on charges of possession of a schedule II substance and distribution/possession with intent to distribute a schedule II substance.
