Update at 3:00 a.m.

All lanes of Patterson Rd are now open again. The investigation continues.

*****************************************

The Grand Junction Police and Fire Departments are investigating a possible arson at 2576 Patterson Rd.  At this point in the investigation we believe a woman intentionally set her own home on fire.    She has been taken into custody and charges are pending.  We are still working to determine why she may have done this. No one was injured.

The home sustained significant damage, and Patterson Rd is closed between Meander Dr. and 25 1/2 Rd. because of the emergency crews working this fire and and the investigation.

We will send out an update when we have more information.
