Safe Community LogoCalling all property managers!

The Grand Junction Police Department will be hosting a Safe Housing training on Thursday, October 29, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.  The training will be held at the Police Department at 555 Ute Ave, and is provided at no cost!

We would encourage anyone who manages rental properties to show up; no matter if it’s a large, multi-unit apartment complex, or a single house, this training provides useful information for everyone.  We’ll address how to attract and maintain good quality renters, and how to handle problem tenants, all the way through the eviction process.  We’ll also talk about logistical concerns, such as how to make your property safer by following some simple landscaping tips.

Even if you’ve attended a training like this before, we would encourage you to plan to join us.  We are always seeking ways to partner with our community to clamp down on crime, and are excited to share this program with anyone who owns or manages rental properties and tenants.  Please contact Officer David Keech with questions, or to register; (970)549-5336, or davidke@gjcity.org
