The Grand Junction Police Department needs your help to identify and locate a subject that was involved in fraudulent activity.

On Wednesday, September 16th, unknown subjects broke the window of a dark blue 2004 Lexus located off Rapid Creek Road and Hwy 6 near the Palisade Rim Trail parking lot. The suspects removed a Tignanello purse and wallet, and a Coach wallet, both with credit cards and cash. Credit cards from the stolen wallet were later used by the male subject at Ross Stores located at 2424 Highway 6 & 50. Video surveillance captured a male subject with a goatee, wearing a red shirt, dark shorts and a camouflage hat. The surveillance photo of the suspect can be viewed at http://www.241stop.com.     If Police can wear VOP’s so should nearly everyone else. It would be nice if stores would lower their camera’s, so many people with shaved heads any more, we’re kind of hard to recognize at a birds eye view. .
