This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help in locating a theft suspect. Shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31st the victim left behind her black Asus Tablet with a black leather cover and keyboard at the Mesa County Public Library located at 530 Grand Avenue. Surveillance video shows an unidentified male take the Tablet from the self-check-out area. The subject is described as a white male in his 20’s, with short, light colored hair, about 5’9”, 160 pounds and had tattoos covering his left forearm and both calves.
The suspect was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, white plaid shorts and a dark colored baseball cap. The total estimated loss is over $350. The surveillance photo of the suspect and a young boy he was traveling with can be viewed at http://www.241stop.com
