Sometime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, September 18th, unknown suspects unlawfully entered a residence in the 800 block of Mission Court by removing a window screen. Once inside the residence, the suspects removed a large sum of cash, several pieces of Indian gold jewelry and coins from locked containers. The victims’ business checkbook and passports were also taken. The total estimated damage and property loss is over $30,000.

    the jewelry is very unique and easily identifiable, will be hard to pass those off without it being obvious. By that train of logic, this burglar knows the victims as the jewelry is wanted personally, The checks and passport will be only of so much use as they will not be able to be passed off without getting caught. so I think it was about the jewlery. Just my 2 cents
