Shortly after 11:00pm on Wednesday night, several people called 911 and reported hearing what they believed to be multiple gun shots in the area of 585 25 1/2 Road. A description of a vehicle seen leaving the area was provided to dispatch, and a car matching the description was observed by law enforcement in the 900 Block of Northern Way. Prior to being contacted by law enforcement, the occupants of the vehicle fled on foot. Due to reports of a similar vehicle possibly being related to the shots fired call, a shelter in place notification was sent to residents within a quarter mile radius.
Subsequently, two occupants of the vehicle were contacted by law enforcement and interviewed. Investigation thus far indicates that a residence in the mobile home park at 585 25 1/2 Road, which was occupied by four people at the time, was shot multiple times by unknown subjects in a dark SUV. No one was injured. The occupants of the residence fled in the vehicle that was later located on Northern Way.
