Homicide Suspect Arrested #GVCopBeat

PEACEThis evening, shortly before 6pm, Joseph Peace, the suspect in the homicide investigation from Monday morning, was arrested without incident at a residence in the 300 Block of Weeping Willow, after a joint operation between the Grand Junction Police Department and the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.  Peace will be remanded to the Mesa County Jail on an arrest warrant for one count of second degree murder for the homicide of Eric Ludwick. A current booking photo for Peace is not available, but attached is a photo from an unrelated arrest in December of 2017.
We appreciate the assistance of the community in helping us to share this information and we’re grateful to the hard work of our employees in their commitment to locating this suspect.
