At approximately 12:40 on Wednesday afternoon, officers with the Grand Junction Police Department were dispatched to a report of a suspect attempting to rob the Rite Aid on the corner of 1St Street and Grand Avenue. The male was reported to have displayed a knife, and fled the scene in a vehicle described as a white hatchback, possibly with a rack on top. No one was injured in this incident.
Shown here are images of the suspect, captured from security cameras at the business. We have also included a picture of a vehicle similar the one the suspect is believed to have left the scene in. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, thin build, with facial hair, last seen wearing a plaid shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap.

Threre is a vehicle in my neighbors back yard this morning that looks like this one. The people who live there at pretty sketchy,, and have a lot of in and out traffic. The garage looking thing they have put up, I believe they have people staying in there lately. I will watch for him. This is at 2952 cedar place gj 81504
