HUBBARDAdditionally, at the time Bustos was arrested, he was with a woman who was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.  Mitzy Hubbard, 43, of Grand Junction, was also arrested and remanded to the Mesa County Jail on charges of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (DF4) and Possession with Intent to Distribute (DF2).

Shortly after 10:30am, officers with the Grand Junction Police Department were dispatched to Mind Springs Health on a report of an armed subject inside the hospital. Officers immediately responded to the area and the hospital was locked down. Additionally, Nisley Elementary and Bookcliff Middle School were put in shelter in place. An emergency notification went out to registered phone numbers for addresses within a quarter mile radius of the hospital to shelter in place, as well.

Personnel with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, as well as SWAT teams with both the GJPD and the MCSO, responded to assist. The hospital was searched and cleared by law enforcement and the subject was not located. Ultimately, the perimeter around the hospital was cleared and returned to normal operations. The shelter in place orders were also released.

Officers worked with witnesses and hospital personnel to positively identify the subject. Shortly before 2:00pm, officers with the GJPD were able to make contact with the male subject in the area of 29 1/2 Road and Patterson. The male has been detained for further investigation. We are not looking for any additional subjects related to this incident and there is no further safety threat to the community.

Your officers need a safety briefing and a duh check. Had an officer this morning BLOW through a stop sign and almost cause a traffic collision.

I would like if a detective could contact me asap. I found 2 different ammo where his camper sat by when the door was at the time. I’m sure you might want them.

Missy Hubbard is a young lady or old lady I guess from what I’ve heard through the community in Grand junction through friends and other friends that you know each other including my best friend that she has been with in possession of several if not very many falsified instinct $100 documented Federal and she isn’t spinning in trading then spreading it through the community and is threatening to visuals when she gives them the money and they don’t realize until they get caught and threatens them that they will be in trouble if they try to press charges on herso I thought that you should be advised of this because it is a federal offense and I don’t feel it’s there for other people to be involved in this case and when she’s involved herself because they happen to have gotten a fake throw from her without their knowledge of it
