The City of Grand Junction is now on Accident Alert status as of 6am today until further notice due to continued snowfall creating hazardous driving conditions.

If you are involved in a non-injury accident please do the following:

  • if possible get the vehicles off the road to a safe location
  • exchange driver’s license, insurance, and registration information
  • come to the Grand Junction Police Department (555 Ute Ave.) during business hours to file an accident report within 48 hours of the incident

The Grand Junction Police Department will still be responding to serious accidents where someone is injured, someone is suspected of being intoxicated, hit and run accidents, or crashes requiring tow trucks.
