This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help in locating a theft suspect. Shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31st the victim left behind her black Asus Tablet with a black leather cover and keyboard at the Mesa County Public Library located at 530 Grand Avenue. Surveillance video shows an unidentified male take the Tablet from the self-check-out area. The subject is described as a white male in his 20’s, with short, light colored hair, about 5’9”, 160 pounds and had tattoos covering his left forearm and both calves.

The Grand Junction Police Department needs your help to identify and locate a subject that was involved in fraudulent activity.

On Wednesday, September 16th, unknown subjects broke the window of a dark blue 2004 Lexus located off Rapid Creek Road and Hwy 6 near the Palisade Rim Trail parking lot. The suspects removed a Tignanello purse and wallet, and a Coach wallet, both with credit cards and cash. Credit cards from the stolen wallet were later used by the male subject at Ross Stores located at 2424 Highway 6 & 50. The first suspect is a female in her late 20’s to mid-30’s, about 5’5” tall, medium to heavy build with black hair. She was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans and a large black purse. The second suspect was a male in his late 20’s to mid-30’s, about 5’11” tall, medium build, long brown hair and thin beard. This week Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the suspect that stole a vehicle from the Bradley Sinclair parking lot located at 3218 F Road.

Shortly after 5:40 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15th the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of an auto theft in progress at the Bradley Sinclair. After the rear passenger yelled at the suspect, the suspect fled the moving vehicle and it crashed into a light pole. The suspect is a white male in his 20’s, approximately 5’10” tall, about 150 pounds and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black “Beavis and Butthead” t-shirt and blue jeans. The Grand Junction Police Department is requesting information that will lead to the identification of a hit and run suspect.

On Sunday, August 2nd,  a male suspect intentionally drove into the victim’s vehicle in the Walmart parking lot, located at 2545 Rimrock Avenue. The surveillance camera captured an image of the male suspect. He appeared to be in his late 20’s or early 30’s, about 6’ tall, medium build, with brown hair and a full beard. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with blue jeans and a white, baseball cap that was facing backwards. His vehicle was a white crew cab truck with black trim.
