MCSO14-27218 Suspects MCSO14-27218 VehicleThe Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is requesting information that will lead to the identification of the two male subjects involved in a burglary.

Sometime between 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9th, two unknown male subjects forced entry into two change machines at the Crystal Clear Car Wash located at 3202 E Road, Clifton. The first subject was described as a white male, 35-45 year old, 6’3”-6’5” tall, about 300-325 lbs. The second subject was described as a white male, 35-45 years old, 5’6-5’10” tall, about 125-150 lbs. The subjects caused over $1,200 in damage and stole over $1,285 in change. Next Victim Advocate Training Academy Starts September 2- Sign up now!

The Grand Junction Police Department and Mesa County Sheriff’s Office are recruiting additional volunteer Victim Advocates who have the heart and compassion to stand with those who are experiencing some of the worst times in their lives. New recruits will attend a 35-hour training program sponsored by both agencies, and then begin serving the community by providing support, comfort, and resources to victims of crime and other traumatic incidents.

Victim advocates who volunteer with the GJPD respond to law enforcement incidents within the city limits of Grand Junction. MCSO victim advocates respond to areas outside of the city limits of Grand Junction.

Western Colorado Drug Task Force Arrests Five People for Illegal Drugs and Guns #GVCopBeat

MESA COUNTY, Colo – On April 28, 2014 the Western Colorado Drug Task Force executed three search warrants in Mesa County, following an investigation that began four months ago.  The result is the arrest of multiple people.  The investigation centered on illegal drugs and guns.  The WCDTF received assistance during the takedown from several units from both the Grand Junction Police Department and the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office including the agencies’ Street Crimes Units, SWAT teams, and patrol officers and deputies

The arrested suspects are:

  • Anthony Sanchez of Grand Junction (DOB 4/5/1984)
  • David Perez-Garcia of Grand Junction (DOB 11/28/1980)
  • Alejandro Perez-Garcia of Pamona, CA (DOB 10/23/1982)
  • Anthony Danny Perez of San Bernadino, CA (DOB 3/15/1985)
  • Steven Madrigal of Grand Junction (DOB 5/25/1989)

At this time, all of the court documents associated with the case have been sealed by a judge, so no further information is available for release.  We will update this site when those judge lifts the seal.
